Life Without the Bush-Era Tax Cuts

Many people think that taxes are a good thing; after, all who would pay for roads and basic services like water treatment, garbage collection, etc?  However, the fewer taxes we have, the more freedom we have. 

We have more leisure time than we ever did.  Families worked throughout the day on family farms to make sure they had enough food to put on the table.  The family farm is pretty much gone.  Private companies are running farms and making it so that you don't have to work the hours and hours that it would have taken to put that food on your table.

However, government seems to think that its job is to provide insurance for you, put food on people's tables, educate you-to give you cradle to grave services.  It's getting to be almost like the Matrix: we are the batteries for an enormous machine, and we can be flushed at any moment.

Government has gotten far too big and cumbersome.  Those who have instituted Obamacare have created a monster that cannot be paid for.  For all these government "services" for which we are the batteries, we are learning that this kind of spending and debt is unsustainable.

Democrats will run on things like, "That guy will take your social security away."  Here's what's going to happen: if we don't cut costs, rather than making reforms to social security, medicare, slashing and cutting in all of government there is not going to be social security.  It's all going to crash, and the current administration and Congress-all in the hands of Democrats right now, are taking it to that state.

Seeing that Democrats are letting the Bush tax cuts "sunset" which is their euphemism for-you're not going to get the tax cuts anymore-you are going to be paying MORE taxes.  In the meantime, it is going to take you longer next year to get to the point where you have income above the amount of taxes that you are paying.  In other words, look forward to more of your money being wasted by our bloated government, because they can't control themselves.

Don't let the siren call of Democrat commercials sway you into thinking that the person they are running against would be a lot worse.  They can't run on their ideas!  These people are a disaster and need to be removed.  As you prepare to make decisions about voting, remember exactly who it is who is letting your tax cuts expire, who is spending way too much, and don't listen to what the incumbents say-LOOK at their voting records.  They will say a lot of things to convince you they aren't who you think they are.
