Our Government and Media: Corrupt, Inept, and Negligent

There is so much that is intolerable about our US government. Politicians have been in office for years and years and years, and yet they get re-elected time and time again.

Congress has passed enormous spending increases, which will put us trillions of dollars in debt in the future. These current politicians must be held accountable. Government health care is now in the works.

ABC will be airing this evening apparently, a government health care commercial for Barack Obama. Our President now has the chance to shove government health care down our throats for four hours, without opposing commercials.

When the media refuses to allow an opposing view to one party's message, this is media corruption. It is also negligent: negligent because the media is failing to do its job of making clear the pros and cons of the important issues, instead promoting an extremely one-sided view.
It tells other nations that look to our example of freedom that the books are cooked. We can't depend on the US media to be halfway objective.

In the meantime, our government is inept. The way to balance a budget and get things back in order is to cut spending, period. Instead our government has increased spending tremendously. Democrats own it. Make no mistake. On the other hand, Republicans seem inept too, because we can't hear them clearly speaking against it. Or is that the media's fault, for not allowing their voices to be heard?

But back to the budget, when you run out of money, and you're maxed out, you have to cut extravagant things, sometimes not so extravagant things, eliminate wasteful spending, destroy credit cards, and pay down your debt. The government just taxes more. They do this, because you don't vote them out of office. They know they can always get away with it.

So, trillions of dollars later in the hole, government health-care is being shoved down our throats. The inept, inefficient government filled with lifelong politicians who have screwed up their own lives, now want to screw up yours too, by taking over your health-care.

It's time to say "No." We must make it resoundingly clear. "Down with government health care!" And if the politicians refuse to hear the millions of resounding voices, we must vote all of them out of office, and clean up the mess.

Watch these people. They're going to say a lot of things to get out of the hot water. Don't believe what they say. Test what comes out of their mouths, by checking it with the facts. Some people it seems can make an entire career out of lying. That's how such terrible "public-servants" get re-elected year after year. These people must realize that their job is to serve the public. To honor the people.
