Questions for the Left, Coming out on the "Dead" Side of History, and Have a Specter "Leaving" Party!

More Questions the American Left Should Answer

Dennis Praeger asked some excellent questions in his article, “Nine Questions the Left Needs to Answer About Torture.”

Click on the link to find it here.

Additional questions:

1. If these techniques, regardless of historical perspective, saved FAR more lives than not using them are you willing to concede that using them was the right thing to do and bury the hatchet?

2. Are you willing to take the heat, even face prosecution when the things in your power weren’t done that were necessary to secure our nation’s and people’s safety should another serious attack occur? Are you willing to let the victims’ families come after you legally?

3. When will you put our nation’s welfare above party politics?

We can be pretty sure there won’t be a lot of thoughtful consideration of Praeger's questions or others in the media. It’s too bad, because their failure to hold politicians accountable is a great disservice to the public they serve.

In the meantime, it seems that news of waterboarding was not so accurate? (click link below):

Media misreporting on waterboarding

Of course Obama at the CIA promised patriots there that we’ll come out on the “better side of history.” Either that, or liberals will ensure that we all come out on the “dead” side of history!

A conservative blog makes observations:

The “Big Lib” Machine reports its side:

The Constitution is not a suicide pact, but liberals only tend to invoke it when it seems to serve their purposes.

And . . . it’s ABANDON SHIP!

Senator Arlen Specter is leaving the republican party.

My prediction is that what this indicates I think is really the beginning of the end for Arlen Specter. Specter is concerned he can’t win his own Republican primary on its way, so we’ll be watching for his defeat in the Democrat primary. Perhaps he’ll get his own classification as a new endangered species, Titannicus Specterus.

Coming off your ecstasy from the tea parties, keep the fun going by having a Specter-leaving party this Friday!
